• support Google or other authorised sign-in redirects;
• remember selected settings and preferences;
• help prevent fraud, abuse and duplicate or suspicious activity;
• support checkout, ticketing and other core platform functions; and
• measure reliability and product performance where permitted.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for security or for features you request. They cannot normally be switched off through an optional cookie preference because the relevant feature would stop working.

Where appropriate, security-sensitive cookies are configured with protections such as HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite.

4. Preferences and functionality

OutNow may use browser or app storage to remember choices such as display preferences, notification settings, discovery preferences or other settings you ask us to keep.

These technologies are used to provide the experience you have selected and may persist until you change the setting, sign out, clear site/app data or uninstall the app.

We may use proportionate analytics or reliability tools to understand how OutNow performs, diagnose errors, measure feature usage and improve the service.

Where UK law requires consent before placing a non-essential analytics, advertising or similar identifier on your device, OutNow will provide an appropriate choice before that technology is enabled.

6. Third-party services

Some OutNow features use third-party services. Those providers may use their own cookies or storage when you interact with their services, subject to their own policies and settings.

• Stripe — secure payment and connected-account services.
• Google — supported account sign-in and related Google services you choose to use.
• Apple — supported Apple sign-in or Apple platform features where available.
• Vercel — website/application hosting and delivery infrastructure.

We do not use cookies to sell your personal information to advertisers.

7. Mobile app storage

Native mobile apps do not always use browser cookies in the same way as a website. The OutNow app may instead use secure device storage, app preferences, authentication tokens, push notification identifiers and other local app data needed to provide requested features.

Examples include keeping you signed in, storing selected preferences, registering your device for notifications and supporting secure deep links into tickets, events or account screens.

8. Your choices

You can control browser cookies through your browser settings and can clear stored website data at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout or other secure features from working correctly.

In the OutNow mobile app, available privacy, marketing, personalisation and notification choices can be managed from Settings. You can also clear app data using your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our services, technologies, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published here with an updated date.
